(Bengar's turn)

Bengar fires at the trooper with his DL-44.

(Bengar rolls for a total of 7 - miss)

(Xander's turn)

X moves 2 north, 2 east, and 2 north. Then he fires at the trooper with his DL-44.

(X rolls for a total of 22 - hit)

(X does 11 pts damage)

The trooper gets hit and he grunts as he falls lifeless to the ground.

The battle seems to have ended. All of you take a quick look around and you don't see any more troopers. Mandrake walks slowly to the young girl that came out of the downed cruiser and he holsters his blaster. He asks her

"Are you okay, young lady?"

Sera watched confused at the old man heading towards her and stood still cautious, not knowing what to expect. Then suddenly he asked her if she was okay, she still hesitating about his intentions answered calm and firmly "I'm fine". Knowing that they were attacking the troopers she inquired more into their agenda "Who are you?, What are you doing here?"

The Felucian scout walks up to Mandrakes side as Mandrake responds to the young woman,
"I'm Vazus Mandrake. Me and my friends..." as he smiles and motions to the Felucian scout and Mutus and the young smugglers "don't take too kindly to the Empire. We watched as your ship crashed late last night but we had to wait until morning to investigate. Now, who are you? and what brings you to Felucia?" Mandrake asks smiling.

May 31 - 19 BBY

As the young woman sizes up Mandrake and the young smugglers, she then says
"I am Sera. I was being taken to the prison facility here on Felucia. That is all I will say for now."

Mandrake says "Fair enough. I can offer you the same as I did Mutus and his friends... I can offer you some shelter until you heal and you are able to move on."

Sera looks at them in distrust.

The Felucian speaks to Mandrake and then Mandrake says "I don't blame you for not trusting us but my scout tells me that he can hear some Imperial scouts in the distance coming here to investigate. I'd suggest you follow us young lady."

Mandrake, the Felucian scout, Mutus and crew head back to the Felucian village. Sera follows them.

May 31 - 19 BBY
9:23 am

Once back at the village, Mandrake tells Mutus and the others. "I told all of you last night that if you intend on going to the Imperial Detention Facility that I had something for you. What I have is a large explosive that you can use to set up in the facility's communication center, the blast should be powerful enough to destroy the prison and overload Imperial communications on Felucia for some time... at least that is what I hope. It will just take me a few hours to get it ready."

Mandrake then speaks to the elders to tell them about what they found. Minutes later Mandrake comes back to bring refreshments for the young smugglers and Sera. The refreshments are described by Mandrake as being a sort of Felucian smoothie made with fruit and vegetables. It is surprisingly better than it looks.

As everyone is enjoying their drink, they are approached by an elderly Felucian. This Felucian is extremely old, and the tendrils around his head appear to be shrunken and damaged. The shaman has also seen his share of battles; his body is covered in scars, and one arm looks withered and blackened as though infected with some kind of shriveling disease. Mandrake tells Mutus and his friends that this is the Felucian Chief. The Chief walks slowly next to all of them one by one looking at them. He pays particulary close attention to Trendkill, Xander and Sera. He then slowly walks by the three of them. Trendkill, Xander and Sera hear guttural whispers as he passes by them. The Chief seems to look as though he is finished "examining" all of you. He then speaks to all of you in Felucian as Mandrake translates
"The Felucian Chief wishes to know who all of you are, why you have come to Felucia, and what you intend to do about the Empire?"

(Anyone may reply)

Sera takes a deep breathe before answering, keeping in mind that so far they're her only chance to get out of the planet "My name is Sera Cor, and I'm in Felucia due to unexpected circumstances...", she pauses for a second to think how many details she should release "... I was on a mission... and got caught and captured, they were bringing me here as prisoner. And regarding what I intend to do about the Empire... I'm not fond of them, so I'll help with whatever you're planing"

Mutus nodded respectfully towards the chief. "My name is Mutus, we're here to rescue somebody from the detention center and while we're at it we'll try our best to disrupt the Empire as much as possible."

Bengar, Xander, Urara, Danaan, and Mordakai also introduce themselves to the chief.

(Sera introduces herself and rolls a persuasion check)

(Sera rolls for a total of 22 on persuasion - success)

(Trendkill introduces himself and rolls for a persuasion check)

(Trendkill rolls for a total of 14 - success)

(Mutus introduces himself and rolls for a persuasion check)

(Mutus rolls for a total of 17 - success)

The chief seems to be more friendly now. He seems happy to know that you are here to help. Mandrake then translates "The Chief is happy to have you here. He says he can provide you with a guide to help you get to the prison facility. He is also warning you of the many dangers of the Felucian jungle, like the poisonous mushrooms, flesh-eating plants, and the numerous deadly creatures in the jungle. He cautions all of you not to proceed to lightly."

Bengar says "We appreciate your hospitality. We also thank you Mr. Mandrake, we will be glad to plant that bomb that you have." Then Mandrake happily nods.

Bengar looks back at the Chief "What else can you tell us about the prison facility?"

(Bengar rolls for a gather information check and gets a total of 18 - success)

The Chief tells them that the villagers call it the "Vanishing Place" and they steer clear of it whenever possible. The chief explains that many Felucians have disappeared in the area around the Vanishing Place, and when the Felucians sent a few shamans to investigate, they had to leave quickly before they were overwhelmed with pain. The chief believes that many of the missing Felucians are being held in the prison facility, and that the Empire is causing them great pain. The chief also tells the heroes that the source of the pain seems most concentrated on the west side of the facility.

The Chief then speaks of something different it seems. Then Mandrake begins to translate. Mandrake says that the Chief is curious whether anyone is familiar with the Force? "The Chief is always curious to know more about the Force." Mandrake says.

"Well not sure if it means anything but there are times when i am in meditation when i am practicing that part of my fighting techiniques that i can feel thing...people..surroundings sometimes emotion, as if i am outside of myself. Not really sure how else to describe it. I have done some research on my own and even though i haev no way of knowing, it may be the force, but i am not sure"

The Chief listens to Trendkill and nods as he hears the translation Mandrake provided. The Chief speaks again in Felucian to Trendkill. Mandrake tells Trend
"The Chief is offering to teach you some of his Force knowledge if you have the time. It will take most of the day he says."

(I just need to know if Trendkill wants to spend the day with the Chief to gain his knowledge. Trend or anyone may reply)

(Sorry for the late reply, I been sick)

May 31 - 19 BBY
9:34 am

The Chief speaks to Trendkill and Mandrake translates. Mandrake says that the chief will spend some time with him today to help him develop a power that the Felucians use, they call it Force blast. Mandrake also says that while he helps to translate, he will also work on the explosion that he was going to give you guys to use. The Chief and Trendkill follow Mandrake to his hut. There Mandrake shows Trendkill and his friends the dozen or so Kybucks that he tends. Mandrake pets some of the Kybucks as he tells Trendkill and his friends "If you need me I will be in my hut working on the explosion."

(Urara rolls for a perception check and gets a total of 19 - success)

As Urara and her friends walk through the village she notices a hut with some young Felucians that sound like they are crying in pain. She carefully takes a closer look and she discovers four Felucian children who lie on cots, frail and nearly immobile except when they cry out in pain. The children's skin has faded to a sickly gray, and their muscles have thinned to the point that are visibly too weak to support their weight.

(Trendkill will spend the next 8 hours training with the Chief. At this time anyone may reply and do anything. I will respond soon with the conclusion of Trendkill's training.)

Mandrake comes out of his hut and looks for Mutus and his friends. He finds Mutus and the young smugglers near his Kybucks. Mandrake walks up to Mutus as he happily and gently gives Mutus the large detonator that Mandrake has constructed.
"Here it is my friends. I hope you do the most damage that you can to the communications center."

Trendkill sits meditating after hours of being trained on the Felucian force blast. A few hours earlier Trendkill watched as the Felucian Chief demonstrated the force blast by demolishing one of the petrified mushrooms nearby. Trendkill sits facing the Felucian Chief as the Chief speaks to him telepathically.
"Now young Trendkill Darkmantle, if you practice everyday what I have taught you today. You will be able to master the force blast. May the force be with you, Trendkill Darkmantle." the Chief concludes.

Then the Chief opens his eyes and he stands up. The Chief and Trendkill bow to each other. The Chief telepathically tells Trendkill that he will assign them a scout that can show them the quickest and safest way to the prison facility.

(Bengar rolls for a perception check and gets a natural 20 - success)

Bengar notices a low whining noise coming from the outskirts of the village, as though a repulsor were passing around it's edges.
"What's that?" Bengar asks.
Bengar then gets a closer look and he is able to see an imperial scout trooper on a speeder bike zooming away from the village, headed into the deep jungle. He only catches a small glimpse of him before he sped out of view. Bengar realizes that the scout trooper did see them inside the village.
"Did you see him guys? He definately saw us." Bengar says.
